Other Side of the Door

2 Nov

floating door

Open your mind, step out into reality

There is so much that your eyes cannot see

The world is yours

On the other side of the door

Bent landscapes, crooked faces are all that you see

Fog from the past does not let it be all it can be

You could have it all

But you choose to fall

Plastic Jesus, more voodoo

The primordial eye in your forehead can see right through you

Wipe the tears from your eyes

You are the one that you despise

But it does not have to be

Pain and misery

Breathe in life and you will see

That you´re free to be free

I like it. You’ve reappeared “transformed” – at least it looks like that from the poem!

It´s actually an adaptation to some bad song lyrics I wrote years ago and forgot about. I´m getting back into playing (guitar) and this was the only thing that I wrote from the last period of time, when I played and wrote songs, that did not make me throw up a little bit in my mouth! 😉

    “The primordial eye…” Perfect!

We’re free to be free. So simple. Elusive for so many.

    Good to see/read you here.

Thanks Eric! I need to make a concerted effort to write more. I am LETTING other things get in the way. I appreciate your attention and kind words my friend. Have a GREAT week!
